The 2007 Kowree Naracoorte Tatiara Football League Mail Medal presentation was decided last night. The longhaired Gill had plenty of opposition from within his own team as two other Naracoorte players scored double figure tallies. Scott Feltus from Western Districts with 54 votes. Scott plays in the centre and gained state country squad selection again this year. Presidents Medal Simon Webb from Wirrulla with 32 votes as runner up to the mail medal. Simon has had a wonderful year on the ball and forward for Wirrulla, strong marking and excellent kick. He is quick and agile, and will be one of the keys for Wirrulla’s upcoming finals campaign.
JV Day Medal The best under 21 in the competition this year is Luke Carey from the West Coast Hawks, gaining 20 medal votes from 11 games. Luke kicked 43 goals, predominantly from Centre Half Forward, missing Mortlock due to injury. A tall mobile forward with great hands and a wonderful left foot long kick, Luke has an excellent football career in front of him.
