Hayden Walker from Balaklava has won his second Mail Medal. The bearded Peckers ruckman finished on 20 votes. Hummocks Watchman’s Jared Wilson finished second with 17 and Mallala’s Jason Earl with 15.
TRENGOVE WINS YORKE PENINSULA MAIL MEDAL

Bute’s Sam Trengove has won the Mail Medal in 2010, this years count held at Ardrossan last Sunday.
Trengove finished on 23 votes, one ahead of Kadina’s Zac Edwards. Edwards led at the half way point by a massive 8 votes having polled 19 to the midway point, but only scored three more votes for the second half of the season.

Waikerie’s Damian Stevens has won the Whillas Medal for 2010
He polled 20 votes, Loxton’s Pete Smith was second with 16, Smith’s team-mate Rhys Mitchell and Berri midfielders Adam Beauchamp and Ty Allen finished tied for third on 13 votes.

FELTUS WINS MID WEST MEDAL BY A VOTE
Scott Feltus from Western Districts has won the 2010 Mid West Mail Medal. Feltus polled 39 votes to finish one ahead of Wirrulla’s Tyler Baldock on 38 and third placed Izaac Halman who polled 36 votes. Halman led with a round of votes to go, before Feltus passed him in the final game getting a pair of two votes, with Halman failing to poll.

RIVERLAND INDEPENDENTS TAKEN OUT BY DALE PAYNE
BLANCHETOWN/Swan Reach on-baller Dale Payne capped off an outstanding season by winning the Howard Duthie Medal as Independent football’s best player.
The medal favourite polled in eight matches, including three best afield efforts, to finish with 19 votes, two ahead of Paringa’s Chris Gardner.
In a tense finish, 18 year old Payne earned two votes in his team’s round 16 win over Moorook-Kingston to edge clear of Gardner, who had made a late rally polling 12 votes in the final six rounds.

Sam Franklin of the Ceduna Blues has won the Mail Medal finishing on 24 votes, four ahead of team mate John Dunn who finished on 20. It is a bitter sweet result for the pair of mid fielders, with the Blues being put of the Finals in straight sets. Franklin polled five best on grounds, with four seconds and a third
Tied for Third were Todd Warmington of Westies and Koonibba ruckman Wayne Miller who finished on 16 votes.
In the B Grade, Tory Ware from Koonibba won the Medal, ahead of teammate J Lindsay.
