Jake Warmington from the Western United Football Club is the 2018 Far West Mail Medalist. Jake is a highly skilled and courageous player who a great year playing in the midfield finishing on 38 votes. Jake also took home the award for the best Under 21 player in the league and he has a huge future ahead of himself. Jake joins his Uncle Paul (1985) and cousins Todd (2006), Myles (2009) as Far West Mail Medalists for the Western United Football Club.
Dom Denton finished runner up on 35 votes, Dom has lead by example as the playing coach of Thevenard this year and his tally of votes is very impressive playing in a struggling side, Dom is a previous Far West Mail Medalist.
Western United playing coach and previous winner Todd Warmington finished in third spot on 27 votes.
GREAT FLINDERS – won by Lachie Paech (Cummins Kapinnie) on 39 votes, runner-up was Jordan HInd (Tumby Bay), then came Xavier Watson (United Yeelanna) and Levi Konitzka (Cougars)
