Tantanoola maintained its unbeaten form with a 45 point win at Kalangadoo. After trailing at quarter time (1.4 to 2.5), Tantanoola kicked eight goals to four in the second quarter. After an even third term, Tantanoola kicked away, booting 8.3 to 4.2 in the last quarter. Matt Warren was in fine form for Tantanoola, with Kym Dodd and Mark McCullum (31 in 2006) kicking four goals each. Chris Mules was best for Kalangadoo, who keep second spot despite the loss.
Glencoe pushed its way into the top five with a six goal win at home over Port Mac. Grant Wurst was best for the victors while Troy Weaver kicked six. Steve Noble was best for Port Mac.
Mount Burr grabbed its third win of the season, accounting for Nangwarry by 23 points. For the homeside, Brad Allen was best, while for the losers, Matt Lesslie was their best.
Meanwhile at Hatherleigh, the hometeam thrashed Robe by 125 points, Nigel Brown kicking six, with Simon Beggs and Joseph Noonan snaring five apiece. Hatherleigh is now third on percentage after the big win.
